He could be the first Black POTUS

The other day someone started to provide points for Obama.

1) He went to Harvard.

I thought "so what?" to the first point and "didn't George Bush get an MBA from Harvard?"

2) He would be the first Black President.

This second point is funny. When did the POTUS become a EEOC quota job. They are all over Palin and saying she should be home with her kids. Where are all the feminist coming to her rescue? Why aren't the fighting the good fight for her? Ah, that's right, she thinks it would be immoral to leave a live baby to die, unlike Obama that voted to allow delivered baby's to lay there and die after a botched abortion.

I bet they would be all over Bobby Jindal, if he was selected as the running mate of John McCain, for his being an Indian American instead of saying "He could be the first Indian president."

3)....I trailed off here and started to talk about something else because the logic was just too overpowering for me.

You may scoff at the Tooth Fairy if you like. But the Tooth Fairy's approach has gotten more politicians elected than any economist's analysis.

Now that Congress has violated the First Amendment by restricting free speech with "campaign finance reform" laws, in the name of getting the influence of money out of politics, have you noticed any less influence of money in politics?

The more I learn about "ethics" programs and ethics "experts," the more I think ethics has become a pious word for imposing the arbitrary notions of third parties on others, who are forced to pay the price for whatever has caught the fancy of self-congratulatory elites.
