personally opposed, but...

I have a friend who feels that his son and daughter should not be having pre-marital sex or have contraceptives at the ready.

...BUT....

He feels that it is fine to have the health nurse give them out to schools because, for some kids may not have been raised in a home like his, and they may need them. It may be the only way a kid may not get pregnant.

Isn't that like John Kerry saying he is personally against abortion, but it should remain legal?

rephrased, My daughter should not be using contraceptives, but I hope her boyfriend does.

The crazy point is that many evangelicals/Lutheran/Methodist/Catholics I know feels this way. Why encourage sin?
